Dr. Lorron Tokpa is an experienced dentist in cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry who is committed to high-quality, patient-centered care. Dr. Tokpa completed her undergraduate training at Morgan State University, achieving a B.S. in Biology. She received her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. To further her clinical knowledge and skills, Dr. Tokpa completed a General Practice residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center focusing on advanced dental implantology, cosmetic dentistry, and hospital dentistry on organ transplant and joint replacement patients. In 2008, Dr. Tokpa was the recipient of the Lebby Award for the most outstanding GPR Resident.
After her residency was completed, Dr. Tokpa was asked to accept the position as the Associate Program Director for Albert Einstein’s General Practice Program. In this capacity she was a full-time clinical attending dentist for comprehensive, restorative, and implant treatment for a nine resident GPR program. She also instructed residents in full mouth rehabilitation on medically complex and mentally handicapped patients in the operating room under general anesthesia.
After leaving Albert Einstein Medical Center, she has focused on dentistry in private practice and providing the most advanced dentistry to her patients while remaining sensitive to their overall health and comfort, with an emphasis on patient communication. Dr. Tokpa is affiliated with the American Dental Association and the Academy for General Dentistry. Outside of work, Dr. Tokpa enjoys traveling and reading, but most important she loves spending time with her husband and two daughters.
